Welcome to the 2021/2022 year! We are so happy to have you!

We are the Anthropology Society at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM). We are dedicated to connect students with interests in the five sub-disciplines of anthropology offered at UTM - biological anthropology, linguistic anthropology, sociocultural anthropology, archeology and forensic anthropology. We offer academic and social events allowing for student to connect with peers and network with anthropology professors and professionals within anthropology. We know that these are challenging times, we understand that in-person attendance at the university will be minimal. Despite these circumstances, the UTMAS will strive to create the same engaging atmosphere virtually, as we would in person.
